Information on Data Cables for the CoPilot™ System

In order to use the CoPilot system for automatic data uploading, your compatible FreeStyle® meter or Precision Xtra® meter must be connected to your PC properly with a USB or serial data cable. To make the setup process as easy as possible, some helpful information is provided below: Step 1: Purchase USB or Serial Data Cables Online USB and serial data cables are sold separately for FreeStyle systems and Precision Xtra systems. The compatible USB or serial data cables can be purchased online at MiniPharmacy.com or DiabeticExpress.com If you have already purchased the USB cable and just need a replacement copy of the USB driver software, click here for the USB driver software.

Step 2: Download the Data Management Software

The CoPilot system is available for download free of charge from Abbott Diabetes Care. Visit the Software Downloads page in order to:

• Register for the CoPilot system
• Find supporting items that will help you get started

Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive an email with a link to your download and setup instructions. If you have any questions or are experiencing difficulties downloading the software from the Internet, call Customer Service at 1-888-522-5226.

Step 3: Install the Software

Prior to installing the software, it is important to confirm that you have the correct system requirements. View the CoPilot system product specifications page for more information.

Step 4: Connect the Data Cable to Your PC
