What happens if I don't get enough blood on the test strip?
Your Precision Xtra meter features TrueMeasure® technology. It is designed to prevent the test from starting until enough blood is applied to the strip. If you have applied blood and the test has not started, you may add a second drop of blood within 5 seconds — saving strips and helping to avoid errors.
Will my blood glucose results be affected by any of the medications I take?
You may have heard that certain medications can change the results you get from a home glucose meter. However, the Precision Xtra system uses a unique technology called TrueMeasure technology, which minimizes the effects of interfering agents such as aspirin, vitamin C and acetaminophen.* If you ever have specific concerns regarding your readings, you should contact your health care provider.
